  • Peanut Butter: Peanut Butter enhances the taste profile of this recipe as well as it holds the granola cups together but you can use any nut butter if you have an allergy to peanut butter. Use almond, hazelnut butter if you prefer them in your granola cups with yogurt and fruit.

  • Mixing: Take your oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, salt, vanilla extract( if you are using it), cinnamon( if you are using it) and mix them together until a sticky mixture is formed.
  • Dividing: Divide this mixture equally between the greased muffin pan, then make a hole in the center using your fingers or the back of a tablespoon. Is Granola in Yogurt Healthy?

Granola in yogurt can be a healthy choice, but it mostly depends on the ingredients and portion sizes. Yogurt, especially when it’s low-fat or Greek-style, is a great source of protein, calcium, and probiotics that support digestive health.

What is The Healthiest Yogurt For Granola?

When selecting the healthiest yogurt to pair with granola, look for options that are low in added sugars and high in protein. Greek yogurt is an excellent choice, as it usually contains more protein than regular yogurt, helping to keep you full longer. Choose plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt to avoid excess sugars and additives; you can always sweeten it naturally with fresh fruits or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.

How Long Does Granola Last in Yogurt?

Granola can last in yogurt for several hours while maintaining its crunchiness, but the exact duration depends on numerous factors. Usually, if you mix granola into yogurt and eat it within 30 minutes to an hour, you’ll enjoy the best texture and flavor. The longer granola sits in yogurt, the more moisture it absorbs, leading to a softer consistency.
